In 1997 to celebrate the Royal Yacht Britannia, Westminster in conjunction with the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue £5 Five Pound Gold Proof Coin struck in solid fine .999 Gold.

The reverse depicts Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip while the obverse has the stunning portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Raphael Maklouf.
The cover also includes the Guernsey £5 Five Pound Stamp taken from the acclaimed Maritime Definitives series designed by Mark Wilkinson and with it's glorious Art Deco styling, gold foil blocking and embossing, evokes those classic holiday' posters of the 1930's.
